Please encourage your Young Leaders to attend one of these training sessions if they have not done so already. ALL must have completed Module A. Explorer Scout Young Leaders should complete modules A-K to achieve their Explorer Scout Young Leader Belt alongside 4 missions. Young people from outside Scouting, such as those working towards their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or Queens Guide Award must also be registered within the Young Leader Unit and complete module A.
The Young Leader’s Scheme is the learning programme for Young Leaders and the training in all modules is time well spent so that they can become a valuable asset to any leadership team and can play an active role in the section bringing fresh ideas to the table and acting as positive role models for the younger members.
