What is The Bigg Weekender?
I’m glad you asked! A weekend of fun for all sections (and leaders) within Biggleswade District to take part in.
Friday starts with getting people onsite, setting up and a few evening activities. Last year was a film and Quiz
Saturday is where The Bigg Weekender pulls out all the stops, with a tonne of fun activities including inflatables, Scouting classics, arts & crafts, guests and more. See below for a range of activities on offer! We cater for events suitable from Squirrels to Explorers, as well as Leaders who need 10 minutes! The evening will have campfires, BINGO and more.
Sunday we will be having more excitement before the closing ceremony, packing away and a much needed nap! In 2023, sections complete in a variety of ‘Taskmaster’ style challenges.
